Bendability linoleum substrates: Linoleum in general is more stable than wool felt, but that is less suitable for achieving sharp curves, whereas wool felt is less stable than linoleum, but is more suitable for achieving sharp curves
Linoleum acoustic qualifications: The use of linoleum improves the acoustic properties of a space depending on the composition and thickness. Indicative test results of Acoustic - Linoleum flexible is available upon request
General processing: For professional processing only, Plexwood is composed of end grain wood and wood with the grain, this means that the processing differs significantly from other wood products, follow the instructions of the products chosen, and see our general guidelines
Assembly Acoustic - Linoleum flexible: When composing acoustic materials with linear groove with linoleum, consider how this pattern can best be assembled for optimal results. This will have to be assessed visually while processing. If necessary, cut to size to achieve this and connect the sheets together properly
Reference samples: Wood is a natural product, varying in composition, on this website displayed, requested and/or delivered samples are reference samples, requesting a production sample is recommended
Transport/storage: Avoid extreme swings in air humidity and temperature, at all times, allow Plexwood to acclimatize before processing, avoid contact with penetrating fluids or substances
Colour fastness: The influence of sunlight can cause changes in colour of the Plexwood, colour fastness numbers of the various linoleum are available upon request
Application possibilities: For the interior, as per the above specifications, acoustic sheets with linoleum are mainly used for frames, (movable) walls, ceilings, (sliding) doors, furniture and slightly curved or flexible forms
